'The Zulu Kingdom'
KwaZulu-Natal is one of the nine provinces of South Africa. It is often referred to as the 'Zulu Kingdom', as it is the ancestral home of the Zulu people, whose king King Goodwill Zwelinthini, is descended from a long line of Zulu royalty.
KwaZulu-Natal is a travel destination of astonishing natural beauty, diversity and excitement. It stretches from the sunny, temperate coast on the edge of the Indian Ocean to the rugged mountain slopes of the uKhahlamba-Drakensberg Park, one of two World Heritage Sites. It incorporates the bustling port of Durban, the game parks of Zululand and the Elephant Coast, where you can see the 'Big 5' animals in their natural habitat, endless beaches, a coastal lake wilderness, arts and crafts routes and historical tours.
